Do you think he was talking about the USA or about american dollars funding international countires with funds to buy local? This might eleviate the USA having to send are good ol american flag bags of corn and soy to foreign countries...thus limiting direct food support with money, which in turn buys local. Just a thought!

that his WH chefs have many Secret Service rules to follow but are allowed to shop locally which included visiting trusted local farms for fresh produce, herbs, veggies, and even dairy. With great power comes a great responsibility to support your local farmer! We trust and love ours - Bull Run Vegetable Farm!

It's true what our moms said...we are what we eat. In fact, it's truer than they thought. What I eat doesn't just affect me anymore, it affects all of us.
Unfortunately, the story of food can sometimes be complicated. But envirovores help each other out...which is why this blog will be bringing you news, tips, and information about food and the environment every step of the way.
